At SPEEDLY, we acknowledge your concern about how your personal information is used and shared, and we take your privacy seriously. Please read the following to understand our Privacy Policy. By using or accessing our services in any manner, you acknowledge your acceptance of the practices and policies described in this Privacy Policy, and you hereby consent to our collection, use, and sharing of your information as outlined below.
Your use of SPEEDLY’s services is always subject to the Terms of Use, which incorporate this Privacy Policy. Any terms not defined herein will have the meanings assigned to them in the Terms of Use.
This Privacy Policy governs our processing of personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) collected when you access or use our services. It does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control or individuals that we do not manage.
We collect various types of personal information from our users, as detailed below, and use this information internally in connection with our services. This includes but is not limited to improving our services, enabling you to create an account, creating chatbots, facilitating communication with chatbots created by others, and responding to your requests for products and services. In certain cases, we may share your personal information with third parties, but only as described below.
As stated in the Terms of Use, we do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are under 13, do not attempt to register for the services or send us any personal information. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete such information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 may have provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@speedly.ly.
We strive to improve our services continuously, which may necessitate changes to this Privacy Policy. If we make changes, we will notify you by posting a notice on SPEEDLY.LY, sending an email, or using other means.
If you choose not to receive legal notices via email or fail to provide an email address, such notices will still govern your use of the services, and you remain responsible for reading and understanding them. Continued use of the services following any changes to this Privacy Policy signifies your agreement to the updated terms. The use of information collected is governed by the Privacy Policy in effect at the time of collection.
We receive and store any information you knowingly provide. For example, if you create an account to develop a chatbot, during the registration process or through account settings, we may collect personal information, including but not limited to your name, email address, time zone, and Facebook pages you own.
If you interact with chatbots created using our services, we may collect your name, gender, time zone, and profile picture. If you provide credentials for your Facebook or third-party account, some content or information from those accounts (“Third-Party Account Information”) may be transmitted to your account with us and is subject to this Privacy Policy. For example, when logging in via Facebook Messenger, we may receive personal information associated with that account, including your Facebook pages. Certain information may be required to use specific features.
When you interact with our services, we automatically record information from your browser or device, including but not limited to chatbots you create, chat histories, IP address, geolocation data, device identifier, cookie data, browser or device type, and requested pages or features.
Cookies are identifiers transferred to your browser or device, allowing us to recognize them and analyze service usage patterns. You may adjust your browser or device settings to limit or prevent cookies, but doing so may restrict your use of certain features.
If you click on links to third-party websites or services, those parties may also use cookies. This Privacy Policy does not cover third-party cookie use, and we are not responsible for their practices.
Will SPEEDLY share any of the personal information it receives?
We do not rent or sell your personal information in any personally identifiable form to anyone.
However, we may share your personal information with third parties as described in this section:
De-identified Information: We may de-identify your personal information so that you cannot be identified as an individual and provide that information to our partners. We may also aggregate usage data for our partners (or allow them to collect it directly) to help them understand how often and in what ways people use our services, enabling them to offer you an optimal online experience. However, we never disclose aggregate or de-identified information to a partner (or allow them to collect it) in a way that identifies you as an individual.
Chatbot Developers: Developers/owners of chatbots on the platform created through our services with which you interact will have access to the personal information you provide to them. For example, if you interact with a chatbot created through our services, the developer/owner of that chatbot may access your chat history, username, profile picture, and any other information you provide through the chatbot.
Agents and Partners: We employ other companies and individuals to perform tasks on our behalf, and we need to share your information with them to provide products or services to you. For instance, we may use a payment processing company to handle credit card transactions for us. Unless we notify you otherwise, our agents have no right to use the personal information we share with them beyond what is necessary to assist us. Note that, under certain circumstances, an “agent” may also be considered a “partner” and will be subject to privacy protection terms.
Business Transfers: We may choose to buy or sell assets, and customer information may be shared and/or transferred as part of these transactions. Additionally, in the event that we are acquired, go out of business, declare bankruptcy, or undergo another change of control, personal information may be one of the assets transferred to or acquired by a third party.
Protection of SPEEDLY and Others: We reserve the right to access, read, preserve, and disclose any information we believe is necessary to comply with the law or court orders, enforce our Terms of Use and other agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of SPEEDLY, our employees, our users, or others.
Is my personal information secure?
Your account is protected by a password for your privacy and security. If you access your account via Facebook or another third-party site or service, you may have additional or differing login protections through that site or service.
You must prevent unauthorized access to your account and personal information by selecting and protecting your password and/or other login mechanism appropriately and limiting access to your computer or device and browser by signing off after you have finished accessing your account.
While we strive to protect your account and the personal information we maintain in our records, no system can guarantee complete security. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of user information at any time.
What choices do I have?
You can always opt not to disclose information to us. However, some information may be necessary to register with us, interact with chatbots, or take advantage of certain features.
You may stop using the services at any time; however, your chat records from communications with chatbots may remain in our logs.
What if I have questions about this policy?
If you have any questions or concerns about our privacy policies, please send us a detailed message at info@speedly.ly, and we will do our best to address your concerns.
